Council owns and maintains community halls, sports grounds swimming pools and meeting rooms available for a wide range of uses including sports, classes, assemblies and events. Some facilities are managed by Section 355 committees and can be booked directly through contact details listed in the facility information. Chairs Change Rooms Kiosk Restrooms Swimming Pool COVID plan information: Visitors will be required to sign in, Visitors are requested to observe safe social distancing of 1.5m from all other visitors (that are not of the same household), when in and out of the pool, Visitors are encouraged to arrive ready to swim and to leave changing/showering until they get home, if possible, If visitors do need to use the amenities there will be number restrictions advertised on signs - these numbers need to be adhered to, Comply with optimal hand hygiene practices by using the hand sanitisers provided at the entrance to the facility, Please bring your own goggles and/or swimming equipment - there can be no loan equipment, Please do not enter the facility if you are unwell, if you have any COVID like symptoms or if you have travelled recently to any known COVID hotspots. For patrons wishing to swim laps/exercise it is recommended to contact the facility to book a lane. A further easing of COVID-19 restrictions has seen the Jindabyne indoor pool reopen to more members of the community. The pool had recently reopened to squad swimmers but following last week’s further easing of restrictions, the pool is now open to the public. The pool is open to the public for lap swimming and rehabilitation exercises between 11am - 3pm Monday to Friday, and 11am - 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays. There is no playing in the pool. The public will need to book before they swim. Bookings can be made on 6456 1051 between 11am - 6.30pm. Bookings will be available on the hour and people are required to arrive at the pool ready to swim.
