Lake Jindabyne Sailing Club

Welcome to Lake Jindabyne Sailing Club. Located in Jindabyne in the New South Wales Snowy Mountains, we sail on the fresh water of Lake Jindabyne. Our sailing program extends from November through to March and we sail on Wednesday (twilight sail followed by bar-b-q dinner) and on Sunday afternoons. Our members mainly sail Lasers, Nacra's and Hobie Cats but we do have a few other yacht types participating. We allocate each yacht a Yardstick value as published by Yachting Victoria. For Twilight Racing we adjust the Yardstick depending upon race results. That is, Twilight Racing is scored on a handicap system.Using this method ensures that no matter what your ability is, all sailors have a chance of taking the weekly Handicap Honours trophy.
