The countdown is on! Just 5 sleeps until the Carols of Christmas present 🙌

If you've not been to carols in Jindabyne before, or haven't been for a while, we have some info that may be helpful: - above all, Carols in the Park is a family friendly, relaxed and free event and everyone is welcome - Carols is held at the Claypits stage and park, so BYO rug, chairs and/or little table to stay comfy throughout the evening. You're welcome to set up a little gazebo or the like, we just ask that if you do, you take a spot near the top of the hill to avoid blocking others views - pre carols entertainment will begin at 5pm and feature some great local talent, so we really encourage you to come along and support them. A program will be released later in the week - the carols themselves will start at 7:30pm, and the fireworks will be at 9pm (ish). We will give warning before the fireworks so that you have time to remove little ones or pups if needed - there will be food available for purchase including JJs Donuts, BBQ by the Scouts, hot dogs by the Cadets and Baby Birchy with sweet treats, but you're more than welcome to BYO picnic & a tipple - Lara Elliott will be doing face painting for the kids and big kids alike - we will have battery candles for purchase as a fundraiser - we will be handing out song sheets so you can sing along, but also hoping our IT gurus can whip up a QR code so that you can get the words on your phone if you prefer - we are of course assuming that the weather will be perfect but as a general rule we proceed rain or shine (or 2021 tornado 😂), so keep an eye on this page on Sunday morning just in case there's any notices about the weather Being that this is our 30th anniversary we would love to see as many friends at the event as possible.
