A chatter of budgies
A flock budgies is called a chatter, when they move as one to avoid a predator this is called a murmuration. In 2022 I was lucky enough to see one of these large chatters near Alice Springs and photograph it for 5 days. All the trees in these photos are dead, all the green is budgies in their tens of thousands. When they flew over me it would get cold from the wind, and the noise they made would drown out every other sound. This is what budgies are truly meant to look like, green, wild, and in their thousands.
