Position: Barista / Front of House Location: Mountain Munchies Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (up to 38 hours on a day 4 day work schedule) About Us Mountain Munchies is a bustling little take away shop in the heart of the Snowy mountains. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional coffee, delicious food, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for all our customers. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Job Description As a Barista / Front of House team member, you will be the face of Mountain Munchies. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting Coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting café environment. If you love coffee, enjoy interacting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks to standard recipes. Operate coffee brewing equipment with precision and care. Engage with customers, take orders, and manage transactions. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the café seating area. Assist with the preparation of light food items as needed. Restock supplies and perform opening and closing duties. Provide prompt and friendly service, creating a positive experience for every customer. Qualifications Prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure.
