IT DOESNT GET ANY MORE LOCAL
Now I'm well aware that you need to have lived in the Snowies for 5 generations to call yourself a LOCAL..... BUT, I reckon Rockstock Deli wild harvested venison snags qualify. We now have access to LOCAL venison. Humanely harvested by licensed LOCAL field harvesters then promptly transported to a wild venison processing plant right here in Jindabyne - LOCAL AS. At Rockstock Deli, where we pride ourselves in making no bullsh#t fine food at our facility in Moonbah (just outside Jindabyne so yep LOCAL). We take this fine meat, mince it and mix it with pork fat, herbs and spices and stuff it into natural casing (those are not local!) and produce beautiful fresh and hot smoked sausages. No filler, no gluten - the real deal. Our jagerwurst are flavoured with gin botanicals, the fruit that comes out of the still after Wildbrumby schnapps distillery produce their gin in the Thredbo Valley (ummmm, LOCAL). We sell these, and many other products, in our LOCAL deli and cafe on the upper level of Nuggets Crossing opposite the post office. I'm pretty sure that was at least five LOCAL's so the snags can claim it. Wild venison Chilli Styx will be in store tomorrow morning. Wild venison Jagerwurst and fresh venison and fennel snag will be in store in the afternoon.
