As expected the resorts were smashed by rain and winds overnight (80-90mm at Falls, Hotham, Perisher, Thredbo and Charlotte Pass). Winds reached 119km/h at Thredbo at 3:30am. Temps will drop during the day in Victorian resorts and light snow will start to fall. A strong cold front will move across the mountains overnight with heavy snowfalls and blizzard conditions. Expect many lifts to be on wind hold over the next two days. Hoping for 40-60cm from this afternoon/tonight through to Wednesday night.
