Snow showers this morning with strong winds and then the big stuff starts later today with heavy snowfalls in the Victorian resorts with blizzard conditions to low levels and then extending up into NSW. We could see another 50cm in some resorts (in some areas maybe even a bit more than that). Snowfalls will be widespread across the mountains and highlands, dumping on towns that rarely see snow and extending up to the Blue Mountains and Central Tablelands in NSW. Winds will be over 110km/h about the peaks overnight. Be aware it may be a bit hard to get into some resorts tomorrow morning due to the amount of snow expected.
