Forecast

Today will see showers developing that will increase to rain in the south and then extend up into NSW. There is a bit of uncertainty about the snow level. It's looking like snow this afternoon above around 1700m with the snow level dropping overnight to as low as 1400m. There is potential for some decent wet snow falling at Perisher, top of Thredbo, Charlotte Pass and the top of Hotham and Falls Creek. We could see anywhere from 10-25cm (maybe even a little more up top if things go well). The lower slopes will most likely be quite wet and we will see some damage to the cover. Winds will be strong overnight and tomorrow morning and this could affect some lift operations so check resort websites, boards, and socials for updates. 15 Day Resort Forecasts: https://www.snowatch.com.au/15-day-forecasts/ Long Range Forecast: https://www.snowatch.com.au/long-range-forecast/
