Rockstock sausage rolls have developed a solid following.
A fella said in a google review the other day that they are the “worlds best” (thanks Chris – big call). I was pretty sure this fan base was not just as a result my entertaining social media posts so thought I should do some market research. I was in Canberra, in a hurry as always, hungry, as always, and grabbed a sausage roll just to re-calibrate by taste buds. Jumped in the truck and headed off. Took a bite. Only one bite. Opened the window and turfed it out. I cant remember if I spat the first mouthful out too or forced it down like a kid who hates vegetables but not near as much as having his iPad taken off him/her/they/them. I felt bad later. I thought “even birds wouldn’t eat that shit”. Its probably still on the road. Next time I'm in town ill go check and pick up my rubbish and dispose of it it a sharps container. How did we ever let our food become like this? I Googled a commercial sausage roll to se what they actually put in them. I was intrigued. How can you make something that is fundamentally so good, and make it so bad? Seriously???? I don’t even know what some of these things are. Rockstock snag rolls are just made from real food. Pretty sure, that is the secret and not social media.
