Some mornings the light just hits perfect with the right alpine dingo.
This is Rocky, I’ve been watching him for the last year. He’s a bit lonely because all his siblings started their own packs and he’s still on his own. Sometimes he looks like he almost wants to play, other times he just sits on the same hill as me at a respectable distance as we watch the other packs hunt at dawn. He’s a big boy like most alpine dingoes, a third bigger than his desert or coastal kin with a coat made for the freezing temps. All images taken with the amazing Nikon z 600mm f4 s and the Nikon z9 @nikonaustralia the perfect setup for back lighting these amazing moments.
