Dingo Puppies

For the last few months it’s been all about the dingo puppies. Finding them, getting close, waiting for them to emerge from the den and not being seen by the adults. This pack has had a bumper year with 11 pups. The adults are almost always 3 in number but I suspect the two females both had pups this year and they combined the litters together. It’s been fun to watch, mostly the little terrors just beat the snott out of each other. As with the last few years there is a lone white puppy this year, a normal colour for an alpine dingo. They grow twice as fast as domestic dogs and so they will be hunting roos themselves in just a couple of months time. I wish they would have stayed this small for longer.
