Planning a hike or a trip to Kosciuszko National Park this June? Please be aware that the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting aerial shooting operations for all feral animals in parts of the park to protect our alpine ecosystems. 🚫 AAWT closure During this period, the Australian Alps Walking Track will be CLOSED between Guthega Power Station and the NSW/ACT Border 🗓️ Key Dates & Times Start: 7:00 AM, Tuesday 9 June 2026 End: 7:00 PM, Tuesday 30 June 2026 These closures are in place for your safety. Please respect all signage and stay out of the designated zones. Penalties apply for non-compliance.
