🚘 Changed traffic arrangements on Barry Way from 20 May 🚘

From 20 May 2026, Barry Way will operate with one traffic lane only to the south of the new Barry Way and Tinworth Drive roundabout while the Department of Education finalises the road upgrade. From 7 am to 5 pm, traffic controllers will manage traffic flow in a one lane arrangement. From 5 pm to 7 am, temporary traffic lights will control traffic flow in a one lane arrangement. The one lane arrangement is required while the Department installs new stormwater pipes, excavate new road areas, install road sub-base, new kerbs, a median strip, and the top layer of asphalt road surface on the western side of Barry Way to the south of the new roundabout. Works are expected to be completed by 20 June 2026, weather permitting.
