Things are looking quite interesting long range. Below is from today's Long Range Forecast: Long range is quite interesting with a few scenarios possible. A weak change on the 30th could see some light snow at times across the 30th-1st. Temps are likely to be marginal, so unless we see a shift it will only be light snow. Following this, it looks like we might see things clear with a few cool days and very cold nights for snowmaking. The strong dominant high pressure systems look like stalling the next system, which I think could be a good thing as it may gain strength. Currently, it's looking like it will arrive on the 5th with possibly some decent snow falling over 2-3 days. It is looking be quite cold so some low level snow if possible. This would be the opening weekend, so maybe a repeat of last year? It's still a fair way away, and things could swing either way, but at least there is a chance we could see something significant for opening weekend.
