Short Term Outlook

As expected yesterday was too warm for snow to fall. It was very wet in the resorts and what snow that fell on Monday is pretty much washed away in NSW. There is still some patchy cover in Falls Creek and Hotham, so that is one positive. This morning temps are still mild so the showers are continuing. Later today we will start to see snow falling about the peaks and it will eventually lower overnight and we should see new snow in all resorts by the morning. Winds will be very strong about the peaks. Tomorrow should see snow falling to around 1400-1500m as temps drop a little. Winds will still be strong so expect blizzard conditions at times and take care if you are on the roads. Friday should see some light snow flurries that will clear.
