10 Day Outlook
We just have to get through tonight then things turn around for Season 2026. Light showers today before a large, fast moving storm front crosses the mountains overnight. Very heavy rain and possible flash flooding (especially in the north). Winds will be strong all day, but overnight and in the early hours of tomorrow, winds will be over 100km/h about the peaks and I wouldn't be surprised if they get up around 120km/h+. Tomorrow morning will be a depressing site in the resorts and the absolute low of Season 2026. Thursday night should see a mix showers/rain and hopefully temps can drop just low enough for snow to fall and we see some white stuff by Friday morning. Friday will see snowfalls at all resorts and hopefully enough to create a light base for the snowmakers to work on over the weekend and next week (keep an eye on the humidity levels).
