The weekend will see some showers developing Saturday with snow up top (mainly at Hotham and Falls Creek) and turning to snow early on Sunday elsewhere. The high pressure system has shifter this system a bit further south than we would like, and thus the downgrade in snowfall amounts from what was predicted last week.

There is a slight chance of cold front getting through on the 14th/15th and maybe dropping a few cms, but it could also slide south. Will know with more certainty in the coming days.

Long range, there is a system to keep an eye on around the 20th-23rd, this one looks to be quite sizeable and much cooler, fingers crossed it delivers something decent. Following that more snow is possible around the 27th-28th.🐸
