August Predicted Snow Days
Here is my outlook for August, and it's looking very promising indeed for consistent snowfalls. It starts on Monday. Snowfalls developing Monday and reaching down to around 1200m later. Snow showers continuing on Tuesday, before easing overnight. This should leave the resorts with around 10-20cm of new snow and this should be enough to get some more terrain and lifts open next week. Looking further ahead, a series of fronts starting on the 10th, is likely to bring some showers and possible rain ahead of a cool change that should see snow showers on and off for the next 5 or 6 days, giving nice top ups. Long range, I'm liking the look of a few potential snow systems. The first being around the 19th-21st for a moderate fall. Then possible light snow after some showers and rain around the 25th/26th. Then right at the end of the month is probably the most promising from what I see in the positioning of this particular system. It should arrive around the 28th-30th and hopefully bring 3-4 days of snowfalls....obviously these are a long way out, but it's getting me excited for possibly an epic August (better late than never)....fingers crossed. ❄❄❄🐸 Long Range Forecast: https://www.snowatch.com.au/long-range-forecast/ 15 Day Resort Forecasts: https://www.snowatch.com.au/15-day-forecasts/
