10 Day Outlook

Pretty mild conditions in the mountains for the next 6 days, Spring like really. The snow will be a bit firm and crusty early on and soften during the morning. There are a couple of weak cold fronts arriving between the 20th and 22nd, bringing showers and the chance of some snow falling up top. It’s not really anything to get too excited about, although the tail end of the system looks to be the coolest. Looking further ahead, the 24-25th could see some light snow falling. Following this another cold front arriving around the 27th is looking a bit strong and cooler, with hopefully a nice, much needed top up of snow. I won't go too early on this one and just wait to see how it progresses over the next week. The end of the month looks like it could bring showers and rain ahead of another group of cold fronts arriving during the first few days of September. It’s still a long way out, but we’re hoping those fronts can deliver a decent top-up and help extend the season further into spring.🐸
