Short Term Outlook
Unfortunately it wasn't a night for snowmaking at Perisher. Temps did get just below zero early in the night but then a warm pool of air arrived sending the temps northwards and at 6:30am as I type it's already 7.1C. This means the snow will already be quite soft this morning. Mostly fine today with the chance of some clouds this afternoon. Winds will be gusty and temps should reach 13C in Perisher Village, this will mean the snow melt will unfortunately increase. The final weekend for the season is looking fine, sunny and warm with temps of 13-14C. Winds will also be strong, especially Sunday, where they could nudge 100km/h about the peaks causing a hair dryer affect, which will increase the snow melt even more. 🐸 Perisher 15 Day Forecast: https://www.snowatch.com.au/15-day-forecasts/perisher/
