Jindabyne Lions Easter Art Show
The members, family and Friends at Jindabyne Lions Club work hard to provide our community with events that are affordable and inclusive to all. The Easter Art Show and Sale has been happening for over 25 years and gets better each year. The volunteers who administer, promote, set up and run the event do so for the community. Through the Snowy Monaro Regional Councils donations program the Memorial Hall has been provided at half the normal hire fee which is a big relief as this is our biggest expense. Without this donation the Art Show would not run. Last year one of the Lions Club's donations was to purchase and install new, professional curtains for the hall. A win win for the community. Long term sponsors Mitre 10 Jindabyne, Lake Crackenback Resort, Nuggets Crossing and Perisher allow us to keep the Opening Night price down and make the entry fee for the event, a donation only. No excuses not to come along. We thank the CWA ladies for catering and Lake Jindabyne Hotel for helping with the bar on the Opening Night. We are always impressed with the variation and quality of works that are presented each year. All works are new and for sale and sales are good because the price is restricted. The age of artists range from pre school to mature age. Attached are a few favourite's from past years. We look forward to welcoming all to the Easter Art Show and Sale and sharing another positive community experience with you.
