Reclaim Kosci

Continuing this week’s series on suggested walks for Easter, this post looks at the Waterfall Track from the point of view of families with kids aged seven plus. And adults who feel like channeling their inner seven-year olds 😉 The Waterfall track is a pleasant circuit starting at the Sawpit Creek picnic area. If you walk it anticlockwise (see map), you do the steep climb first, with the reward of granite rocks to play on near the top. Then mostly downhill, crossing Sawpit Creek on a footbridge, to the waterfall. Continue back to the cars with optional diversions to more granite boulders adjacent to the track. 6 km, allow 2 to 3 hours with playtime. Kosciuszko – visit it, enjoy it, protect it!
