2024 Thredbo Winter seasonal positions available.

The positions are for, 1 x General Lodge hand. 1 x Nanny/ General lodge hand. THE LODGE - Kosciusko Alpine Club is a 48 bed club lodge in the centre of Thredbo. The club is 109 years old and has a long history in the Australian Alps. We offer breakfast and dinner (no lunch) to guests daily. THE JOB(s) - We are looking for a general lodge hand and a nanny/general lodge hand. All meals are provided to staff and all staff live on site in twin share accommodation. We are only a few minutes walk to the ski lifts and the roster structure allows for plenty of ski time most days. Successful applicants will be required to work a 6 day roster with split shifts each day. The job will average 30-40hrs a week. Duties include but are not limited to. Waiting tables (breakfast & dinner only) Housekeeping (no daily services) Kitchen hand work Snow shovelling Receiving stores and stock rotation General cleaning Food preparation (experience preferred) Assisting in plating meals Child minding (2 young children) FURTHER INFORMATION - Hospitality experience essential. All staff are employed on a casual basis under the hospitality general award (This includes penalty rates). Working with children check required. Unfortunately a lift pass is not included, but a staff discount on the retail price is possible. We would require a season long commitment from all staff. (Approximately june - late September) There is also the possibility for year round employment for one applicant as we also operate the lodge for the mountain biking season.
