Reclaim Kosci

Moon Rock, in Kosciuszko National Park, is a little-known walk with a big view. It starts on the Kosciuszko Road, at the Dainers Gap chain-fitting bay and ends with a scramble to the top of a huge granite boulder which has stunning views. There is no formal track. You need some navigation skills, but it helps that you will be able to see Moon Rock from the road, in most weather conditions. Allow 1 to 1.5 hours return. Moon Rock, like the other Kosciuszko National Park walks posted here earlier this week, would be a great mini-adventure this Easter. Remember to tread lightly and avoid walking in boggy areas. Visit, enjoy, protect!
