Lake Jindabyne Foreshore Design - Snowy Mountains Magazine

PLANS have been released for the Lake Jindabyne Foreshore design as part of the 40-year vision for the Snowy Mountains Special Activation Precinct (SAP) master plan. The ‘Foreshore Design’ plans show six key focus areas across the 3.3km kilometre path from Banjo Paterson Park through to the foreshore trail connection near Widows Creek. Foreshore Trail Connection, the Lake Jindabyne Sailing Club precinct, the Shared User Path, Claypits, Waterfront Park and Banjo Paterson Park. A new pathway would be three metres wide, extending to four metres in high activity areas and have an elevated section over water near the Waterfront Park. The foreshore trail connection on the western side would allow access to the new Mountain Bike and Adventure Park on the Alpine Way. Interested community members should view the full plans which note several points in each of the images, plus further descriptions. (see link bottom of page).
